You can ask ChatGPT or Claude which card to use at a store. Without your wallet, the chat app can only guess from general rankings, and its top card may not be one you carry. With Ask Pikt, in beta for ChatGPT and Claude, the chat checks the cards you added to Pikt. It answers with the one likely to earn more, the estimated gap, and why. Muse support is coming soon. Why the answer varies
The likely winner depends on the cards a person carries, the merchant category, active bonus categories and offers, reward values, earnings caps, known fees, and issuer terms. Card acceptance can also remove an otherwise higher-earning option. A public guide is a general comparison until a user provides their own wallet.
Pikt personalizes each estimate to the cards you already carry, the purchase details, and any reward values you set. Why the usual card can earn less
When there's no answer at the moment you pay, most people use the card on top of their wallet. Asking a chat app helps only if it knows which cards you carry. Without that list, it ranks cards across the whole market, and the card it suggests may not be in your wallet at all.
How Pikt compares your cards
Ask Pikt connects Pikt to ChatGPT or Claude. You add Pikt in the chat app's settings and sign in with your Pikt account, which tells it which wallet to use. Then you ask about a store and an amount. Pikt compares only the cards already in your Pikt wallet. It's the same wallet and estimate as Card Check.
What to ask
Name the store, the amount if you know it, and the country when you pay abroad.
You can also ask which cards you've added to Pikt and which offers are live on them. An offer you have to switch on in the issuer's app pays nothing until you do.
How to set it up
You need a free Pikt account with at least one card added. Cards are added by name. Pikt Pro is not required.
Then add Pikt in ChatGPT or Claude and sign in. The Ask Pikt page has the steps for each app.
What Ask Pikt does not do
Pikt never stores card numbers, so there is nothing for a chat app to see. Through a chat app, Pikt can't move money, change your Pikt account, or pay for anything.
You pay with your own card, and your issuer decides the final rewards. You can disconnect a chat app at any time from the Ask Pikt page.
