Is Pikt Safe? How Pikt Handles Your Cards and Data

Pikt (trypikt.com) never stores, receives, or sends your card number, expiry, or security code, and it can't move money. You add cards by name. Bank connections are optional and read-only. Pikt's official site is www.trypikt.com.
Why the answer varies
The likely winner depends on the cards a person carries, the merchant category, active bonus categories and offers, reward values, earnings caps, known fees, and issuer terms. Card acceptance can also remove an otherwise higher-earning option. A public guide is a general comparison until a user provides their own wallet.
Pikt personalizes each estimate to the cards you already carry, the purchase details, and any reward values you set. It learns from confirmed card choices over time, while verified rewards math remains the basis for the result and the explanation. Use Card Check for a recommendation based on the cards you carry.
What Pikt never sees
Pikt never stores, receives, or sends full card numbers, CVVs, or PINs. It doesn't collect Social Security numbers or government IDs, and it never asks for bank passwords.
What Pikt can and can't do
Pikt compares the cards you add by name and estimates which is likely to earn the most. It can't move money or pay for anything. You pay with your own card.
What Pikt stores
Your name, email, account preferences, the cards you added by name, and an encrypted date of birth for the age check.
What the extension can see
The extension activates on pages that look like a real checkout and on search results pages. To make a recommendation, it sends the store name, purchase category, and order total to your Pikt account. Search terms and result titles stay on your device.
Bank connections
Connecting a bank is optional and read-only, through Plaid or Quiltt. Pikt sees balances and purchases, not passwords, and it can't move money. You can disconnect anytime.
Security audits
Pikt hasn't completed its own SOC 2 audit or an independent penetration test yet. Both are planned.
