Give it the store and the amount before you pay, or just the category if that's all you know. Pikt looks at every card in your wallet, weighs reward rates, bonus categories, and any offers currently live on them, then names the card that earns the most and shows the dollar difference with a one-line reason.
The usual causes: the store is filed under a category you wouldn't expect, a card is missing from your wallet, or an offer doesn't apply to that particular purchase. Pikt only compares cards you've added, using reward rates, bonus categories, and offers you're eligible for. The store category guide covers the category part, and you can report a bad answer from Settings → Help. Practice runs in Card Check never count toward your confirmed savings.
Enter a store and amount. Pikt names the best card from your wallet — or a practice wallet of sample cards if you haven't added any yet. Practice runs stay out of your confirmed savings, so you can try it before you add anything.
Offers is where you keep track of store offers, statement credits, and the annual benefits on the cards you carry. Pikt holds the list, but it can't enroll you in an offer or redeem a benefit for you, so check the terms in your issuer's app before you count on one. Live offers do count toward Card Check and Pikt Checkout recommendations when they apply.
Card networks label each store, not Pikt, and that label decides which bonus applies, whatever the store's name suggests. It's why a coffee shop can count as dining rather than groceries, or a warehouse club might not count as a supermarket. When the category comes through with the purchase, Pikt uses it. If it still looks off, the store category guide goes deeper, or you can report it from Settings → Help.
Confirmed savings only count after you tell Pikt that you paid with the card it named. That includes purchases that started in Pikt Checkout online. Practice runs in Card Check stay separate and never touch your real totals. Bank linking in Subscriptions finds your recurring bills; it does not verify reward savings from your statement.
